Half the problem people here are talking about isn't the fault of caffeine, but the way it's being consumed.

Try drinking green tea instead of whatever colas, coffees or other random sodium-laden things that you come across if you want to get the benefits of caffeine without a lot of the common side-effects. Plus it might just help save your life with antioxidants and cancer surpressing agents.
