For that windows has terminal services and remote desktop, or you can download Remote Administrator from www.radmin.com to accomplish it, but why not just get a decent laptop and use that as a standalone machine?

The last option is just to damn easy
Actually I have several pieces of hardware that just would not work in a laptop.
Mainly I want to be able to use the laptop just like it was a keyboard/mouse/monitor extension of my desktop wireless.
