Actually... a little water on your already planted hair gel brings the sloppiness back and makes it comb-able again after it gets hard & crunchy on your head. You just have to hurry to the surface & tread water feverishly until you get to the side of the pool so you don't over-soak it or wash it out. A blow dryer @ poolside may help styling, but don't drop that fucker in the pool or you will get a whole new hairstyle altogether.
