Honesty is the best policy. I would more hurt if my husband lied to me about what he was doing than I would be if he was doing something I didn't like him doing.
In my own life I am upfront with all of my friends (my husband was never an issue as he helps me out sometimes, etc) and they all know what I do. What is the point of hiding part of your life from people that you care about? I want them to like and love the real me..not some me I make up.
