You wont get anywhere unless you have thousands in marketing budget, get a GOOD site - and pay for the brand name of the designers, and actually offer a good service and use hosts which the hundreds of thousands already are using.
IE: count servermatrix, ev1, nocster, managed.com all these low budget crackhouses out.
Every 14 year old and his 9 year old cousin have servers there.
You need something new - new location, host which isnt as well known due to pricing or target market.
Then you need a niche - everyone and their mother tries to push webhosting... so why the hell should they choose you?
Are you going to be another one of the 2 minute hosts which competes on price?
Are you going to be another one of the 3 minute hosts which tries to compete on "quality"?
Or are you going to be original and be nothing like the rest, and offer something that no one else that will make people want to stay with you month after month - and you be able to charge a decent amount per client?
Are you going to have the budget BEFORE you get any customers to get all the custom coding done for whatever you plan to offer, as well as make the user experience a more enjoyable one?
Areyou going to have the budget BEFORE you get any customers, to launch a massive advertising campaign targetting your market, as well as branch markets?
Are you going to have the budget BEFORE you get any customers, to hire staff to handle the clients PROPERLY that you bring in from the above advertising campaign?
Are you going to have the patience and determination to work 15-20 hour days, and countless sleepless nights to ensure that ONE customers satisfaction?
And after all that, are you sure you have the money to pay for a REAL host before you start ANYTHING?
