Text links work fine if the content is niche specific to your site content..Banners work too, but gotta be unique image thats not over saturated all over the web.

I dont place any banners inside avs content area..Pointless..some avs wont allow it..Also dont convert as well because the avs member dont usually get membership to other sites because he already has an avs membership that gives him access to 1000's of sites!

Put the banners on the outside of avs content.
