Nothing new here. Pharmaceutical companies in Asia have been making fake viagra pills pretty much since the release of the real stuff.
Some manufacturers are better than others. The main problem for the manufacturers seems to be with consistently having the same dosage of sildenafil citrate (the active ingredient in viagra) in every pill.
Of course, there's the whole trademark issue here. Had they sold it under a different name, probably no one would have heard about it. Because they sell it under the Viagra name, Pfizer gets on them faster than Oprah on a ham.
The ironic part is that many of the countries manufacturing generic and/or fake viagra doesn't allow the legal sale of the real stuff, yet they allow it to be manufactured for export.
