Remember the old Geritol commercial that had women up in arms until they pulled the ad? At the end the husband says "My wife, I think I'll keep her".
Women hated that because it made her sound like a possesion of the husbands they said.
Today, we have the ad with the woman talking about "my man" this and "my man" that, and "my man" takes levitra.. Who the fuck is this man? Her husband? Her boyfriend? Her stepson?? Her possesion?
It's easy to flip the standard on it's head when it suits the needs, but real equality will never happen unless women who write these articles are willing to say "I wanted to fuck someone else because I was horny as shit and my husband is a flaccid asshole anyway."
The smart people know that articles that make them sound like victims, even when they do something of their own choosing, doesnt help them at all.
