Someone asked me to give them advice on this situation recently and here's my speel:
Affiliate Marketing. We own and operate a network of over 50+ pay sites and have a community of 1000's of webmasters that drive traffic to our sites, so it's not a direct marketing model, it's a b2b model.
Or after I've had a couple of glasses of champagne or depending on my mood that day, I'll just give them the simple defintiion:
