If you want the real skinny on why @home went tits up, it is because they bought EXCITE.COM and EXCITE.CA last year and sunk a whole shitload o' cash into trying to save the already troubled web portal ....
They did not make anywhere near the advertising revenue that they had forecasted ... which they had already factored into their operating budget.
