Also, Kurds are not Saddam's "people". Here's a
brief history of the Kurds . The Kurds have been perceived as a thorn in the side of the Iraqis for some time. Turkey, an American ally and therefore exempt from any charges of atrocities it seems, have repeatedly "surpressed" the Kurds in their own country.
Saddam is evil because . . . ? Learn to think independently of what the Nightly News tells you to think. (Which is not to suggest that Saddam is a saint. Only that his "crimes" are no greater and no less than many others including our own esteemed leaders.
