I suppose you'd put me in the category of semi-traditionalist; I believ in honoring and loving my woman. I do not cheat. I believe in being expressive and I believe in honesty in a relationship.
Beyond all that crap, however, I'm generally pissed off about the whole situation. I do not intend to pay for dinner right out of the gate. You should take your half. You ate the fuckin food, pay for it. I will not buy random women drinks. Friends and the female that I invited to the bar, sure. If I offer to do a shot with a girl, yeah, I'll buy - but thats cuz I offered. Free this and free that is bullshit. Over the years I have known many a chick who goes out without ANYTHING besides her ID. And she comes home drunk. She didnt want a guy - she wanted liquor. That sucks.
I'm not complaining becuase I can't do it (which I can't), I'm complaining becuase some (not all) women EXPECT treatment like that. Look, you wanted womens lib so now you have it. I admit the glass ceiling on payscale needs to be fixed but youre not stuck barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen... So be happy. Get a fucking job and pay your way - the same as we do - in this world.
