I know personally, I don't want to give out unedited docs to the newly defined "secondary producers" for a $5 set, so I will discontinue non-exclusive sales. Not because I don't have docs, but because I didn't get into this business to possibly endanger a girl's safety for a $5 sale.

First off....I hope the regulations are passed. 2257 was written pre-Internet and an updated version is long overdue. Usually people bitch about being in the dark because they feel that the current laws are not written clearly. Now people are concerned that there is a big "crack down." STFU, comply with the law, and move on with your business.
Secondly.....I feel the same way that you do which is why I stopped aggressivly pushing non-exclusive sets a long time ago. It is also why I am very picky on who I do business with. I personally know each of my ongoing exclusive clients and I fully trust them with those records.
