Hadn't thought of just letting it sit there for that long..figured 5 mins of hanging would be more than enough..but it sure can't hurt anything.
Now I'm faced with the problem of I can't get the computer to load the cd. (I was going to re-format and reinstall). Now when the cdrom is the boot drive..it gives the message "Windows is checking your hardware" and BURP, the system suddenly reboots.
I'm starting to wonder if maybe that cdrom drive is the culprit. I'll put in a new one tomorrow and see what happens..too tired for that tonite.
