Please stop drinking man... Do not try to solve your marriage/family problems until you get your own problems squared away first... This is what your wife wants you to do. This is a wakeup call. Leave a message her parents that you are going to change your life and you need some time... etc. etc.
If alcohol is your main problem -- go out into nature -- alone -- away from everything -- purge yourself...
