Heh, I am a dyed in the wool Libertarian, I have seen the movie twice, and don't worry, had my Democrat friends pay my way in.

No way in hell would I pay to see it with my own money.

Now with that said, I see places Moore could have slammed Bush further, and other places where he could have thrown the book at him, yet used the imagery, yet if he used what the incident, it wouldn't play into the third act.

The scenes of the bodies hanging from the bridge and dragged in the street were private military contractors, I have a number of close friends with PMC's in Iraq, The nice thing for Bush is when a PMC/PSC gets killed, its not chalked off as another American servicemember being killed in Iraq.

To date there have been about 45+ private military/private security contractors killed in Iraq. Contractors paid with no bid contracts to protect CPA and American Interests, it could have gotten really murky with Bush hiring mercenaries to protect security interests in that part of the world, but that would have totally blown the part of using poor Americans in the Army and National Guard.

Now I knew Hamid Karzi to be in the hotel business, I wasn't aware of his advisory for Unocal in Afghanistan. But National Security Advisory Condoleezza Rice was a director for Chevron and had a supertanker named after her.
