Doesnt it bother you that we sent 11k soldiers to the country where we "know" bin laden was? And send 150k soldiers to iraq? And that we were told iraq was on the verge of possesing nukes? And that we were told iraq had WMDs? And we were told iraq had all kinds of midified jets and UAV's whose sole purpose was to spread all sorts of biological and chemical weapons? And that they sent Powell to the UN with a vial of white poweder and sattelite phots of "WMD" facilities? Doesnt the evidence of pure bullshit make you at least say "I need to keep an open mind"?
C'mon now, I give everyone credit to have the intelligence to see through baloney.
Oh and one last thing, doesnt it bother you that condy rice said under oath to the 9/11 commission that when those planes hit those buildings in new york and washington, that THAT was when they took the threat seriously?

EFFECTIVELY they are -- in the sense that the opposition to the war gives the terrorists COURAGE -- ie., it makes them think they simply have to hold out and keep going until November.
The successful establishment of a democracy in that region would be great for the world. The Militants are doing everything they can to increase hatred for the US, because the only type of government they would approve of is a THEOCRACY - the Repressive Islamic type where women who go out without a veil are allowed to be beaten and even raped because the lack of a veil proves they are whore.
Remember how they hung a woman for waving at the troops at the beginning of the war?

Ah, no it's not. The Democrats have proven that the only thing they care about is the defeat of Bush -- war in Iraq and American soldiers be damned. Ted (pour me another one) Kennedy has done nothing but insult our troops. I can imagine Kennedy being one of those who spat upon the American troops when they arrived home from Vietnam.

If that is true, 2 things can be pointed out:
1) They aren't occurring in the US - rather take it to them than allow them to bring it here
2) That's only because we created an image of ourselves as a *paper tiger* that would run at the first sight of a body bag when we withdrew from Somalia.
3) And also because of the opposition here in the US providing them with a source of encouragement. It perpetuates their belief that we can't take violence and will eventually withdraw because of it. They though the Koreans would be like Spain. Spain's withdrawal also gave them courage.
Any sign of weakness on our part or our allies makes them stronger and fortifies their belief that they will succeed.

You WANT to believe that that is proof of attempts to deceive and lie. An open mind would concede that it is also very possible that there was NO attempt at deception, but merely a belief in the validity of the evidence.
Once again, hindsight is 20/20. Both the Clinton administration and the inspectors admitted that Saddam had WMD at one time and that they continued to be unaccounted for.
It is still very possible that Saddam had his WMD transported to Syria

Yet, you do not even contradict the commission, which is accusing you of arbitrarily making war on Iraq for specious reasons, when Saddam?s intelligence and military organization was hosting Al-Qaida operatives connected to the 9/11 attacks. ***

The Clinton admin had so hamstrung our intelligence services with the Jamie Gorelic memo to Janet Reno that it's surprising we had any intelligence on Osama at all.
The Clarke book has been thoroughly refuted, if you take his allegations for gospel.

It's your opinion that it's a course of unreason. I disagree. Appeasement has never worked and will never work.
