It wouldn't hurt to buy a few strobes and use a digital SLR. You'd still be able to shoot "amateur" style, but you'd make the model more 3D looking and much more attractive to members.
Brian taught me that a few years ago, and GOD DAMN, was he RIGHT!! Sales and rebills went through the roof with just a few minor changes, yet the amateur style wasn't sacrificed.
