bunch of crap .. "it's a sport" ? I'm sorry but where, in the rules of ice hockey, does it state that it's ok to jump on a guy's back from behind and slam him face first into the ice and start pounding on him?
Yeah there's risks in any sport .. it wouldn't be such a big deal if this happened due to a legal body check that went wrong .. but I don't expect when I sign up to play on a team that some creep is gonna jump on my back and break my neck. That's just not one of the risks that I would take into account. but that's just me.
