Why are adult females called WOMEN and adult males called MEN?
It's called the English language.

Promiscuous woman = SLUT.
Promiscuous man = STUD.

Promiscuous: adj., not restricted to one sexual partner
Slut: n., a promiscuous woman
Stud: n., a young man : GUY; especially : one who is virile and promiscuous
