I don't think it's the $40 that matters to him, it's the principle of it. If you're going to open your big mouth and say you'll give $40 for whatever it was then you should hold your end of the bargain. Pulling shit like that won't get you anywhere in this biz, but I don't see you going anywhere in this biz anyway.
