amjo, seriously. The computer I'm talking about is a crappy celeron that was FREE with purchase of a nice laptop that I wanted. It couldnt barely load photoshop with it's 128mb of ram.
I put in 2 512mb chips and it makes all the difference in the world.

Also, if your computer is old and hard drive fragmented, then defrag it. That'll give you larger contiguous blocks of disk space for the swap file and might help a little in the meantime.
