Aries, in my opinion, if you still want him, I'd suggest a "break" for awhile, because if he was anything like me, he'll go running right back to you...just next time make sure you're in control.
I was the exact same way with my girlfriend, I took her for granted, and I miss her so much. I've come to realize that no one can fill the void she left in my heart. Some time alone will make him remember, and make him regret. If you choose to take him back at that point, just stay in charge and don't put up with any bullshit, or it'll happen again.
