1. doesn't matter her mother was driving and probably driving for her and possibly under her employ.
2. to borrow from an old quote "no shit sherlock." ;) The guy's gonna get paid either way....she would have more insurance than some regular joe on US streets.
My sister suffered a broken ankle during an accident about 6 weeks ago...the big issue is not whether the lady was covered or not..but whether or not she has enough coverage.
My sister will walk out of this probably seeing like $1K-$2K after all bills are paid..that's it...while this guy will see much more than this...probably in the $100K+ mark.
3. He was standing in the street but witnesses in the article state she drove off fast and through the reporters and by law you are required to avoid an accident...especially hitting a pedestrian.
