I have dedicated film scanner for 35mm slides and negatives and I charge less than anyone I've heard of. I also offer retouching to images.

My scanner does 4000dpi. A 50meg file would be about 3500x5300 and runs $8 each.

I'm going to be out of touch until later tonight and then I will post some examples of the retouching.
