Snow... about the cookies... when you set a cookie -- you can set an expiration date/time... be default -- when you set a cookie -- it expires when you close the browser (well for most browsers that is the default) -- but the site that places the cookie has the option to set the cookie for however long they want... But I think most browsers purge cookies eventually.
