I think Gauge is playing a part here, at least that's the feeling I got from the vids. Yes it's somewhat degrading, but then again I've seen tons of pornos where the female is slapped, pinned down or slightly abused in some way. Hell, I saw a blowjob scene once where Jamie Gillis slapped Ginger Lynn in the face because she was teasing instead of sucking. The look on her face was hauntingly evil, but she finished the scene just the same. It was a much more degrading scene than these Gauge scenes, but if the femal actor is willing to take such abuse then there is very little to be said here.
It then comes down to personal tastes.

It's not illegal to film or create such scenes, as long as there is no extreme violence coupled with sex or forced sex depicted. What remains is your own choice of whether you want to view it or not. And for the record, if I were to ever produce any hardcore videos or pic sets, I would stick to the more mainstream rather than this stuff. But that's just me.
