I can't believe what I'm reading here... anyone who thinks their own nations don't act like this in secret, is unbelievably naieve...you've got no place telling Americans they are, as if your own governments are not as savage as any other. A retired RMP told stories about things done to Canadian prisoners that made the Iraqi prisoner situation pale in comparison.
There is no excuse for *anyone* killing *anyone*. And I can't believe ANY group of people could sanely defend al Quaeda for their actions. Unless of course you were in on 9/11...
I loathe and detest George Bush...and I don't want us going ANYWHERE to "save" or "defend" or anything *any* country other than our own (and nations that ask for our assistance), but these responses are total shit.
My prayers are with that South Korean fellow *not* with his captors, and that's where any sane person's best wishes *should* be.
