Bro,
That statement is part of the problem. You have to give a lot man, but you also have to know when to take away and leave them guessing. It keeps them alert and on their toes. If you let them know they have you by the balls, they may walk on you, and you will take it.
The other problem is that she "forgot" about you. If those were her words, walk away now, as painful as it may be... just cut her loose and move on. There are 5 million girls on this planet who will NOT forget about you.
