In these two cases...I dealt directly with the artists or family members of the deceased. They got the big bucks mostly because we were fairly certain that the shit was legit.

This is my lot in life. Started as a hobby in High School and I was able to parlay it into a job with the Hard Rock, who are the only real collectors of this shit. They have a HUGE collection, so when it came time to cut costs they kicked my butt to the curb. No need to keep buying when you have just about all of the memorabilia that means anything.

The reason they finally came up with to get rid of me was that I was surfing porn all day...or so they thought. I was justing getting into the biz and was working my stuff on their time...making more money with a few small sites than they were paying me
