I have a "star" system with my kids.. If they do something exceptionally good, they earn a good star. If they do something exceptionally bad, they earn a "bad" star. 5 good stars and they get to pick a really cool reward. 5 bad stars and they spend the day in their room without toys or tv. I put fighting with siblings and tattling high on the list of "bad" things to do and believe me, it works like a charm. I always thought rewards systems for children work much better than yelling. The less you yell, the more impact has when you DO raise your voice. Then they know you mean business
