what i'm saying is this:
all the raw material is here, people are attractive, but there is no heat.
heat comes from the illusion of authenticity. it is the difference between a tv soap opera where you see the acting, and cinema-verite', where you don't.
so it needs to be shot differently to be effective---of course it will be posed setups---but the viewer will believe it is reality.
and then, IMO, it will sell.

Oh, thank you a lot for telling me your thoughts. Thats what I'm trying, that my pictures are telling a story or that the surfer thinks to be present. Well, I have to work harder on it.
