Well my advice is to go custom. A prepackaged set up is most likely going to have several features you don't like or are not going to be able to be customized to fit your needs as the end user. Plus you have to look at updates, tech support, custome tweaks you may need etc. Any good programer that you may hire to do you a custom job will offer this (maybe at extra cost after the intial build is accepted). A package download may or may not offer any of that.
Oh and not to mention a package may not allow for custom mods should you want that later on. Better to do a build from the ground up and get what you want from the go.
