gloves, skates, helmet starting to smell like something died in them. Wiping them out , airing them out, spraying fabreeze helps, but when they get sweaty again the smell is back.

Obvoiusly I cant throw this stuff in the washer, and its too expensive to just throw it away.

I know someone here plays hockey and knows what I'm dealing with, how do you clean your gear?
