I know that I like songs where people sort of vent or lash out at religious people that have made the song writer's life miserable. I am drawn to such things because all the negative in my life is rooted in religion.
I also like songs about "family" or "children", particularly since my son was born. I am drawn to such songs because my son is my reason for living. His innocence fascinates me. And songs like that make me reflect on him.
So... any idea what draws you to "dark" songs?

I met with more doctors and more priests and nuns in catholic school than most cancer patiens doe before they die.
ive been evaluated by countless thelogians and religious scholoars, not to mention catholc college professors whom I challenged at an early age.
I was nearly kicked out of catholic school in grade 4 for refusing to bow and stand when the priest entered the room.
my mom laughed at it.
