I wouldn't live in Pattaya though. Depends what you like. But Pattaya is becoming more and more like a German colony. Phuket in the south is much better. Or Chiang Mai in the north.

I personally prefer Bangkok. That's because I'm more of a city guy. I like the convenience of living in the city. I'd probably die within a few days if there's no 7-11 within a walking distance. =)
