Why my IIS (Windows2000 Pro) can only accept 10 connections at the same time?

Answer:

This behavior is by design, because Windows 2000 Professional is not designed as commercial webserver. So the connection limit is set to 10, normally this should be enough to develop and test websites or for smaller websites. Unlimited connection are available with Windows 2000 Server and above.
