Is it possible? Yes, an arcade I used to visit had a booth like that.
It was great fun. Indeed what it did was try to detect the eyes,
mouth, and outline of the face, then do a 50-50 morph.
The booth made the job much easier because all the pictures
always had the same green background and the instructions
had you look at a certain point, so detecting the outline of the
face and where the eyes were was much easier than doing
the same thing with any arbritrary photograph.

This detection fits pretty nicely with some other work I've been
doing on detecting where diffferent body parts are in photos.
As mentioned, morphing it once you've done the detection
is the easy part, especially a simple morph like this. I'd be
interested in working on this. Shoot me an email with you phone
number and lets discuss it. It WILL be expensive to get it working well,
but then perhaps you can sell it either as a service or as software
to other sites as well.
