Statutory Rape in nearly all states is a strict liability law, meaning the law is broken regardless of the intent of the defendant. This may have changed but I believe at least two states, one of them being California allows a defense of mistake of age. For the other 48 , you do the deed you do the time---dont even bothering talking about how old the gal looked or said as its immaterial evidence.

Any good legal advice you will get will be depending on what jurisdiction you live in. You may in fact be living in a community where it is legal to have sex with a 15 yr old.
