Yup, once you've been to an Olympics you are changed forever, and you never forget it. My dad worked for the CBC back then so we got set up in an apartment in Montreal for 2 months back in 76. That city is just full of character and great things to see and do. My mom and I attended the Forum, had floor seats right behind the Russian women's gymnastic team. I saw Olga Corbett up close, and Nadia Komaneche. Spent another day in the then-new Olympic stadium and saw Bruce Jenner.
I would love to go see the next games in person. I love the winter Olympics too and would love to attend one of those at least once as well.
