Yes it is a very long post, but well worth the read....... definitely makes you think and puts some reality into what is going on over there.
Think about boys barely old enough to know who they are or what they want in life being thrown into a situation like this and then have someone point at them and say they are cowards for being scared out of their minds and wondering if they are going to live thru the day, much less thru the war, whether they are going to see their moms and dads, children, wives, and so on. Was the day they said goodbye and went over there, the last time they will ever see these loved ones? Are they going to get their legs or arms blown off and ruin the rest of their lives that they JUST started? What about something worse....... they DIE!!!
I'd be scared out of my damn mind too and being scared would be the least of my worries.
Imagine being 18-20 years old and having to look at mangled bodies of people that you were just having a good laugh with a few hours before. Think about the ones that you are looking at that YOU yourself had to blow away because if you didn't then they might blow YOU away.
And then they wonder why these boys are scared and call them cowards? That's the insanity right there.
