Having watched pretty much the entire thing, I can tell you there were several moments where a speaker told of a humorous moment in reagans life.
One story was about how he always wrote back to people who wrote to him. One was a boy who wrote that his mother was making him clean his room. Reagan wrote back saying that he could understand the boys mother declaring his room a disaster area, and perhaps the boy could ask for a grant for a clean up effort.
Just paraphrasing, but it was very funny and most everyone laughed or smiled at least.
I did find it in poor taste to only invite republicans to speak.
Reagan belonged to America. Not a political party.
But all in all, it was fairly well done and very respectful.
