What bothers me is that women in this industry already have to put up with bullshit on a day to day basis. We're constantly dismissed as "just content" when we're trying to run businesses, just the same as the men are.
I bought my condo with money I earned from my own business. I work hard at it every day & this is my livelihood.
You've already posted that your mom finances your life, so this isn't a big deal to you. Hanging out at parties & getting attention on the boards is just fun & that's cool.
But for me, getting lumped into the same category & not being taken seriously enough to actually do business is a major problem.
