At least the days of the catheter are at and end !!!
Apart from some tears, arguments and a SENSATIONAL right hook that he nailed a Nurse with today (made Dad proud, it was a right worthy of the golden gloves!!!) when he is washed, turned or they changed the bandaging on the traction splint he's doing pretty well.
The key concerns appear to be what they are serving for lunch and what show comes on next on the Cartoon Network.
Thank God for hospitals with cable.
The fun and games are about to set in though - 2 more weeks in hospital in traction and then 8 LONG weeks in the diabolical chest to ankle cast (apparently they have to immobilise the entire hip and also the knee on his broken leg) at home.
And then it's Florida for me .............
