Excuse me but I for one do not believe it is "so much part of the English language it would be like banning the word sex.
I'm not sure where you live, or your background but from where I come from that word was NEVER tollerated under ANY circumstances. Of course, I was brought up to respect all people no matter thier race or religion....so if you want other slurs banned, that is fine...request it...but don't spout crap that the word is as american as apple pie because that is simply not the case
