I hate pop-ups. as soon as they start i am too busy shutting them down to bother reading them as i don't (want to) know how many are going to load.
No pop-ups ever on my pages, sometimes my mates cruise my pages to see if there is anything new there (like pics of my ex's!) and i know that they hate the damn things too.
If some one has a 56k modem (most of the UK) it just slows the page load.
