You do not have to send anything. But you should send it all.

Copies of two IDs, model release and the license should all be sent to your client.

Because the IDs show the model was of a legal age, the model release shows the date it was shot indicating the model was over 18 on the date of the shoot. The model release shows the shoot was professional, the model was paid and the rights they signed away. The license so they know what they can do with the content.

Having the right documentation when buying is essential. Because if it's ever needed having it there on your premises is what will save you.

Forget about what the law says or you think it says. If you ever get a knock on your door from the AG or his delegees you will thank yourself you had the documents. Because establishing that you did not need to will cost you thousands of dollars in lawyers fees. Yes you have rights and a lawyer will charge you $400 an hour to make sure of you have them.
