Yep... I am new, and trying hard to meet other good new people, Nickpappagiorgio, and reak are two good examples...
old timers that tell you how powerful they are cause they were here first, are not shit.... they are like the middle class, they always want to think they are more valuable than they realy are...
and the only way for them to distinguish themselves from the true players . that have made themselves succesful in the early days of this business, is to keep reminding the new ones how much better they are than them because they have been around longer....
here is the rule of thumb I follow....
I do not respect my elders, I respect my betters....
and if they have been around as long as they say, and are still broke, or just middle of the road, then they are stupid, cause there was boatloads of money to be made, and they only got the spill off from the really successful people to even have "made " anything. at all...
those people will be gone before a sharp newb is you watch.... or they will still be around telling everyone how great they are as each new batch of newbies leaves them with a few more crumbs to live off of.... while the smart ones pass them by again... so they can say they been around for another 5 or 6 yrs longer than the successful guy that passed them by each year.....
