To cut videos, just use: Virtual Dub.

To make good screenshots: Just open the video where you want to make your screenshot, in virtualdub and press ctrl+1.

Then, open photoshop 6.0 and make a new canvas, then press ctrl+v.

¸Just rezise it and make the correct colors changes and you're done
