I could name many that are making big bucks from the ads used in spyware. Many of them are very popular programs that advertise right here at GFY. People that are friends, people that party at the shows.
I have another system I've been letting my roommate use. The damn thing can barely boot up anymore. I'm going to have to wipe the whole system clean and start again from scratch. It's ridiculous.
I thought about setting up some links to toolbars, etc. Forget it. I can make money without destroying other peoples computers.
